I haven’t forgotten about you all…

I continue to stay so busy. My days and nights these last few weeks seem to be non stop. I haven’t even had time to read up on all my favorite diaries (I hope to get caught up this week). My short trip to South Carolina went well last week. The presentation I gave went better than I expected. I even had the VP come up and tell me he liked the presentation, which pissed off a couple of others that had given their presentations earlier. He didn’t even comment to them. But you know what, my presentation was good and the rest of them should learn from the old master here. When GOD handed out skills, I definitely got the one for standing up in front of a group of people and give presentations. I didn’t learn it, it just happened…

The rest of the week was a blur. I did do a little fishing over the weekend and hanging out with the family. This weekend is painting time around the house. We are having some work done around the house outside and they will prime it, but I will need to paint it. I also found out I have to go to Mexico in two weeks. They want me to go next week, but I said no. I have too many personal things going on next week, and my family comes first. My boss was pissed, but he will get it over it. It’s not a life and death situation and maybe by adding a week, they will cancel my trip. Yeah, like that is going to happen.

I think it is time to find another job. I feel like I need to pursue it a little bit. I don’t want to move, and feel like there is a good chance I will get my boss’s job when he retires this summer, but then there is always a chance I won’t. Everyone pretty much knows that if I don’t get his job, I will be leaving. So I decided driving back from SC last week that I need to get my resume cleaned up. This company is really hurting now anyway, so it would be a good exercise. Who knows, maybe I can get a better job and not have to move to get it.

Well, I better get back to work. So much to do, so little time to do it…
